Upgrade Baystat 239 to a Honeywell RTH7600D controller

For Trane sytems, B is your "Common" wire. O is your reversing valve relay, G is your fan, Y is your compressor contactor, R is Hot, Brown will not be used on your electronic tstat. X2 is your backup electric heaters. Without knowing what terminals are on your new tstat, I cannot offer more information than this. The installation manual may indicate what each terminal is controlling. I strongly suggest to write down ALL of the terminals and colors from your old t-stat and be sure to turn off the power to your air handler. Put the fan switch on your tstat to ON before turning off the power. Make sure the fan is running. Then turn the power off to your Air Handler. If your fan stops running, you have turned the power off to your tstat and are ready to start replacing it with your new tstat. I hope you find this helpful. Good Luck!!!

This relay has three ports, one, two and three that connect to a stat and I think the t port on the velocity controller. Is one main, two goes to the stat?

From what you are describing and the way you are describing it I would highly recommend you contact your local Honeywell service.
Good Luck,

My Honeywell EMM-3 zone controller system LED is flashing orange, indicating DAT fault. How do I verify the DAT is faulty?

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Perofrm this test--

Connect DATS Sensor to EMM-3 (optional).
a. Reconnect power to EMM-3.
b. If system is in Purge mode, press PURGE OVERRIDE on EMM3.
c. Verify SYSTEM LED is no longer flashing. This confirms proper DATS operation. (Flashing occurs in Idle and Fan modes only.)

Also see page# 9 & 10 from this link--

Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Thanks

The # is on the BACK- yeah go figure, of the unit. Lift the front up from the bottom and it will come off (it goes back on). THEN you will see your number. Mine was a CT3611.
