ASTAR 40" LCD / Pixel constantly on

I have a Astar 40" LCD TV that has a pixel that is constantly "on" resulting in a bright white pixel that is very visable (and annoying) when the screen background is black or dark. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks!

No Sir,
pixel are come from the screen panel. All LCD TV have these pixel and some do shows and some don't. Also depending quality of the screen panel. (These should be counted panel defective) according the information through the LCD factory.

Why the white or black spot on LCD Display

Dead and Stuck Pixels
Pixel defects for an LCD monitor are defined as one of two types: dead or stuck. Technically, both types of pixel defects are stuck pixels but it really deals with the electrical currents and the state of each pixel or sub-pixel.
A dead pixel is defined as a pixel or set of sub-pixels that has failed and is permanently in the off position. This condition means that the pixel will not let any light through. did you check the power supply capacitors, all the models of astar had this problem. You can tell the bad ones because they are puffed up on top. This fixed my problem and many other peoples. They used cheap parts so cheap results, they are out of business
