Question about Pioneer Televison & Video
Are you able to turn the TV back on immediately or do you have to wait? If the TV is consistently shutting off around 20 minutes, this may indicate an overheating issue. It is possible that you need to clean the TV out of dust or it may mean your cooling fan is dead or not revving up when the temperature rises. If you are not able to turn the TV back on right after it shuts off, overheating is likely the issue, as you would be forced to wait until it cools down. If you are able to turn it back on, for how long? Does it continue to shut off after another 20 minutes? It is possible that the thermal sensor on the mainboard is defective, or that the software that controls the sensor maybe corrupt. Service or a firmware update may resolve this. You would have to contact the manufacturer.
