Question about Insignia D300a PC Desktop
Reboot and select proper boot device or insert media in selected boot device. If i don't have the recovery disk, is there an another way i can reboot it please
Try tapping F8 at start up and try booting in safe mode...If this fails you will need to reinstall your OS.

I have installed a new monitor on my desktop (windows xp) but the message appears 'Reboot and select proper boot device, or insert Boot Media' ..
I have tried out the new moitor on my laptop and is working fine. How can i rectify this on my desktop? Is there anything i need to change in the bios screen?

SOURCE: Recovery disk needed
on reboot, enter BIOS setup, F1 Esc, whatever the prompts say
and change the boot sequence to a valid drive.
This may not work since you did not say what occurred to __kup the boot sequence
