Either the relay won't stay engaged because of low power , failing coil in the relay or a protection circut that shuts down to protect the complete circut
the audio sound board is a seperate circut , but the restart is engaged , because the circut is now ready to function properly , but when it fails to hold that circut it will restart again

a tech needs to test it to determine the cause, unless you can check the lamp and if thats not it you will have to call a tech or repair shop

Its a common problem. The lamp needs to be replaced.

Call 1-800-samsung & choose the parts dept.
For the replacement lamp it cost $149.99 plus tax & shipping .
You give them the lamp code ( red sticker on the side of the tv) , they send it out 5day shipment.
Local tv repair services can install it for an installation fee. This will save money apposed to ordering through a tv repair shop who charges an order part fee plus etc...

My RCA model # HD52W59, power on and shuts down without coming on. Green come on then shuts down. No picture or sound.

The set is in shutdown because of a problem inside, this model has the three strikes and your out, it will try three times to come on and then latch down. It likely needs a shop repair of some kind.

The light is blinking a code. The code will be a series of blinks, a pause and the blinks again. Phone Sony service and give them this code. They will be able to advise you as to the problem.

I have a Sam HLN617W1X XAA... just came back from vacation and can't get any color in the picture... is it the lamp?

No. If it was the lamp, you wouldn't have any picture at all. If the picture has lost color and you haven't touched the connections, the TV most likely needs to be repaired. If you're under warranty, the repair will be covered. If not, you're looking at some out of pocket expenses.
