That relay is supposed to engage power to the tv boards that control the screen.
you will have to take it to a oualified service center , because they have access to parts that are needed for repair

I need to know how long do you have the tv?In the other word, approx. how many hours you have put into it? Secondly, did you wall mounted the tv or setting it close the the area which there is not much room for the back of your tv to breath? solutiondoct
the relay is kickking in but a failure in one of the boards is preventing the tv from powering up (protection circut ) and only qualified service centers have access to these parts
Hello ****, I have the same problem. However. I manage to get the TV on by pulling the cable out and then plug it back in again several times. A couple of times just after you have heard the first click and the a couple of times just when you hear the second click. Sudenly the TV decided to work again. I think it must be a problem with one of the two relays that sits next to each other near the centre of the TV. If you take the back of and then plug the power back in you will see the two lights next to those relays come on and then die out when the relays let go. This is what hapens if the TV doesnt work. If the TV works those lights/LED's will stay green and the relays will hold on and feeding the TV screen. I will probably try to see if I can buy replacement relays and replace these. If I can get hold of them, then probably I would take the existing relays appart to see if I could see any fault. If those relays ar ok and the replacement relays appear in the same manor like the old ones I would look for problems before those relays. Maby order a new circut board from Samsung.
