My Tefal Advanti delux just stopped working but fuse ok ???

something had been gone short due to the power socket.let the socket be ok but sometimes due to heavy voltage this could possibly happen.just check if somme parts is burnt ,turned black or smelling foul oudor,or when you on the machine now it passes burning fumes from some where.

assuming that the socket does have power, then i would assume there is a blown thermistor fuse in the cooker itself. it is a temperature fuse that is wired inline to your power cord to protect against excessive high temperature. not easily fixed. cheaper to buy new rice cooker.

When the push down lever hits the bottom it pushes another little lever which makes contact with the positive and negative terminals. over time, these terminals get ever so slightly bent, especially if you start pushing the lever down hard. what you have to do is take the toaster apart, get to the positive and negative terminals and pinch back into shape with some pliers. you should understand once you look at it. Then put back together. if it doesn't work then it's likely a component has gone so, unless you have a multi-meter and a soldering iron I wouldn't suggest doing this.

Oh yeah, unplug it before you do anything.

often is the switch as you press down its a steel wire like a pin that snaps i have repaired 2 same problem i soldered a fine steel wire on its easy part to replace but so far i cant buy a replacement switch
