Memory card downloading pics. onto memory card then onto my laptop (i580) motorola

Insert your memory card into an USB memory card reader then insert the USB card reader into your powered up Dell computer. The Dell will see this USB card reader with the memory card as an external storage device.
You can then click on this memory card and open the folder that contains the photos. You can then select the various photos and copy them onto a folder on the C drive on your Dell laptop.

It wont work. The pictures on motorola phones are different file types. If you really want the pics on your phone download image converting software and convert them to .jpg on your PC then put them back on the memory card.

thats a problem but to solve this u have to search each and every folder with concentration

You have to make sure the video is in the right format 3GPPP, and that you put it into the video folder on the micro sd card. When you put it back into your phone it should be there after a minute or two.

Always make sure you tell it you want to remove the card before you just take it out. It can mess up the card for good if you just remove it.

ok so for the I580 you can only put .jpg pictures on the phone, but the catch is that they can only be at the most 134kb.. When you go to put them onto the phone just drop the file into the images folder on your sd card.

use the cable and desktop sofware that came with the phone. i recccomend a memory card if u want to do this faster. i have a blackberry and a memory card is worthit

format the SD card through the phone in the options, and then put music on it from your PC, if that doesnt work...then just put the files on the card and not in a actual folder ( happened to a older motorola phone i had a few years back and it fixed my problem ) hope it works for you!!

you need to first install the MPT-MObile Phone Tools Software then following the step by step instructions.

Using a proprietary data cable, download to your PC, then upload to your phone.

If you have a compatible data card reader on your PC:
1. download directly from your data card onto your PC hard drive, 2. insert your new data card,
3. goto my computer and then drag and drop the files you want into your new data card.

The card is probably formatted with a FAT16 filesystem. Try reformatting the card with a FAT32 filesystem.
