can you help me in solving this error, what remedy can you suggest and what does it mean E04-01. thank you for your help

error e04-01 means fuser warm up temperature

problems could be

-fuser thermister dirty ir defective

-fuser lamp is disconnected or defective

-fuser thermostat is defective

you may go for the min time to service mode (funtion+orginal size A3+3), F9 mode, ram initialize, then find LBP FUSER RESET. then restart your machine.
