Question about HP Compaq dc5100 PC Desktop
I forgot the power on password for my hp compaq dc5100 computer. I got a blue box that ask for a power on password
Did you set the password from the bios settings? if so, reset your bios by opening your pc casing (be sure that its unplugged) locate the bios reset jumper (mostly found near the battery cell in the motherboard) take out the plastic jumper from pins 1 and 2 and set it to pins 2 and 3 and wait for about 10 seconds then put it back to its original settings ( 1 and 2 ). close your casing and start your pc
