Question about Eureka Smartvac 4870 Bagged Upright Vacuum
I cannot figure out how to replace the hose assembly. You cannot take the back of the unit apart as there are some sort of screws that cannot be removed. The assemly will not slide through the narrow hole.
Boy, it's been awhile since I took one of these hoses off, but I think at least one of those plastic hose guide things has to come off in order to remove the hose. Those screws that look like they cannot be removed are probably torx screws which need a T20 torx scredriver that you can get at any hardware store. That is the most common size torx screw that Eureka uses.
