Question about Panasonic Lands Phones
Generally water damage is permanent. The best you can hope for is to open it up and inspect the printed circuit boards for signs of green corrosion. You may have just a blown fuse, or it could be something worse. In any case, it's usually better to replace with new than repair watered electronics.
Since Panasonic has a promotion on 824's, you can grab one for about 1/2 of what you paid for the 624. None of the expansion cards will fit in the 824, but if you only had the 3x8 system without door phone, you're good to go.
If you're in the Midwest United States, I have 2 824's on the shelf that can go out the door at competive prices.
