Question about Whirlpool LER3624JQ Electric Dryer

1 Answer

Whirlpool LER3624JQ My dryer was working perfectly well and then the next thing I knew, I went to start another load and nothing happened. I waited awhile (like an hour) and tried again and nothing. The dryer won't start at all and I don't know what I should do?

I have same problem: dryer was working fine, opened the door to check the load and dryer wouldn't restart. I have checked the breaker, door switch, motor turns without resistance, everything looks fine, and dryer has power to the back just won't start.

My dryer worked just fine but now it will not start. I was told that ir could be the breaker / fuse in the dryer. I was told to pull the back panel off and locate the breaker / fuse close to the heating element. That I could not find nor can I find anywhere that "show" a diagram of the that area.

Just dried a load of clothes and every thing worked fine. Put in another load to dry and says it is sensing. Nothing else happens

Here's a quick thing to try. Unplug the dryer, wait a minute and plug it back in. Try drying the clothes again. If this doesn't work, you will require troubleshooting from one of the category experts for dryers. Good luck.

remove the back panel, you will see the heater box,the fuse which turns the heater box on is at the top of the heater box, replace that and it should work, most of the time what blows the fuse is cloogged wall or dryer vent holes-mike

Whirlpool electric dryer not drying

If the drier drum is still turning I would suspect a separate fuse is open for the heating element. Checking this may require openning the back cover. It may also be a defective or open heating element.

I have a Whirlpool Dryer (Model # LER 3624JQ0) that just stopped. I push the "Push & Start" Button and get absolutely nothing. Remind you, this dryer never did turn off, I had to manually stop it each time...

Check the thermal fuse on the exit chute, white plastic. You can tape the wires together to test. If the dryer runs, replace it. Part # 3392519. Thermo next to it is also bad, part # 694674. Replace it and your timer will run down. Both parts available at Hope this helps!
