Have you registered and updated your Garmin. There are free software updates available. You will need a usb cable and need to download Garmin Updater.
Always back up your gps before doing any updates. To back up your garmin just copy the entire garmin folder that shows up in my computer after you connect the usb cable. I will attach a link below. Thanks for using FixYa
Free Garmin Map updates can be downloaded within 90 days of purchase or are free for a life time when it's purchased with lifetime map updates. Software updates are always free.
Maps / software can be updated online by registering your Garmin at MyGarmin.com using the serial number and your name. On this website you'll be guided through the steps to download / install the required web browser plugin to communicate with your Garmin Nuvi.
When connected over the USB cable - MyGarmin.com shows compatible map or software updates. These will be free in the conditions mentioned above.
Note that updating a map online requires a 3Gb download. This can take a very long time and requires a stable internet connection. Also your Mac need to have at least 5 Gb of free space to install the Map.
A Nuvi software update is much smaller and takes less time to complete.
You first need to go to Garmin and make sure you register you model. From there you can look for updates. There was a time when the updates were free. I'm just not sure if you will get one free for your model. And the roads and maps are always changing. So I will give you the link and you will need to use the USB cable that came with yours to update from garmin, Hope this helps, Sea Breeze https://my.garmin.com/mygarmin/customers/myGarminHome.faces
I had the same problem. Sometimes the voice would start to speak and then cut off after a few sounds. I was still under warranty so Garmin replaced it (I think with a rebuilt I am now having display problems with).
Before I contacted them I tried software updates and resets and changing voices--alas it had to go back to the factory.
Wow, as soon as I got my nuvi 360 I turned the Bluetooth off. I then updated to 4.40 and the bluetooth SW version is now 0.00 and i cant even enable the bluetooth again. I think we have the same problem. I wish I could help but I am in the same boat.
