Question about Microwave Ovens
Our GE spacemaker microwave oven door was swung to far open; it knocked it off kilter and now does not work. There is complete power to the unit, all of the displays work correctly. Any suggestions?
You can usually find helpful exploded view diagrams and order any needed parts by entering your full model number here.
You will need to look it over to see if anything in the door / hinge area got damaged. If so, those damaged parts will need to be replaced.
In some cases with over the range models, you will have to remove the oven from the wall and take off the outer cover to see everything.
You can download GE owner's manuals and installation instructions here.
