Check your "spam", "trash" and "junk" mail folders - especially if it was the first time an email from that address was sent to you. If not found, have the sender check to make sure they did not swap, mix or omit a letter or otherwise send it to the wrong address.

This is probably because your Yahoo account to which you are trying to send in emails to has some typing error in it, or it is not active and is deactivated for some or the other reason.

The best thing to do first is check with the sender to make sure that they actually sent the message.
If they have sent it, here's a list of conditions that will stop that email from getting through to you. If any of them describes your situation, you'll find instructions on how to resolve the issue just below. Hopefully, one of these will do the trick!
Incorrectly typed email address
Is the sender using your correct email address? Just one mistyped letter will cause an email to go to the wrong address or make it undeliverable. Ask them to double-check that they entered your address correctly.
Sender's email not functioning properly
Can this sender successfully send messages to other people? The problem could be on their end, with sending. Ask them to check.
Inbox needs refreshing ( Yahoo! Mail Classic)
New email often arrives while you're writing or reading another email. The all-new Yahoo! Mail updates your Inbox for you, so if you use it, you'll always see new mail when it arrives. But in Yahoo! Mail Classic, you won't see this new mail in your Inbox until you Refresh or Reload the page, or return to the Welcome Screen, or click Check Mail.
Note: Yahoo! Messenger shows an alert each time a new email arrives.
One of your filters could be directing the email into a folder
If you've set up filters, the message from this sender might be going directly to a different folder from your Inbox. Here's how to check your filters:
  • Click Options in the upper-right, and select More Options.

There's a delay in delivery
Messages are usually delivered within a few minutes. Very rarely, they are delayed while in transit. Unfortunately, aside from waiting, there's no way to know whether a message has been delayed or whether it has been rendered undeliverable. If a sender can re-send it, have them do that.
No matter what the cause, the best solution is to ask the sender to re-send the message.

First type search www.yahoo.com to complete a new account setup. Usually the details of persons are acquired from which yahoo provides spaces capable of several functions. A new acount setup makes available to the member passwords and usernames to log into yahoo spaces designed as personal customisation. After the yahoo membership has been acquired, the member signs into the acount at www.yahoo.com with the password and username that was provided to them. Successful entry into the account makes available electronic mail messaging amongst several network advantgaes. Before sending an email on yahoo usually from your logon in account, another persons email address like friend@yahoo.com is typed into a space visible as yahoo mail. Once clicked yahoo mail in your account, a space is made availble to keyin the email address from where messages would be sent. Also, below the address spaces would be typing area for messsage required emailing. Once the friends email address has been keyed in to the spaces provided and message area typed, below is provided a button that allows clicks to approve as message has been delivered to the friends email box. Usually a sent message to friends would be stored in your sent messages box for references perposes. If the message submited was not delivered after clicking the button, yahoo electronic systems sends it back to you messages area with a headline as not delivered successfully.

My mail to yahoo addresses is sent back undelivered

This is a major problem faced by many users, AFA I Know the Reason is that the time on the sending machine was wrong – it was set Some time before in the future. It seems Yahoo won’t accept mail sent from the future, so if you are getting similar rejection messages check your system clock.

I hope this will help you out, IF not then you better Contact yahoo help and report this issue, because there are equal possibilities that there is some malfunctioning on the server side.

This is an indication that someone is using your e-mail address to spam people, it is called "Spoofing".

Spammers usually use legitimate e-mail addresses to spam lots of people. But some of those e-mail addresses that the spammers trying to spam are invalid. Because they're just guessing it.

Spammers usually gets a legitimate e-mail addresses by hacking the server of some stores. From the server, they could get legitimate e-mail addresses.

People's email addresses are being registered to the store server once you purchase something online. But there's no need to worry because your e-mail address will never compromise.

Here's what you need to do:
1. Access your e-mail.
2. Open the Mailer Daemon (bounced-back message).
3. Click on Submit as Spam button.

The server of your e-mail will try to locate the real sender via the IP address that the spammer's used in sending e-mails. Then the server should trace and block the sender.

But the most effective one is to create a new e-mail account and inform all your friends about your new e-mail address. And try to avoid buying things online.

check on yahoo phones, with your problem. is a security issue (someone is controling your emails and you are the donkey if anything hapens "legal Problems"), ask for closing acount and open a new one.

Or change to another Mail server. like your internet provider.

I do not receive all of the mail sent to me. No error messages for myself or for the sender, I just don't get them.


Please check the SPAM or Thrash folder, also check the ignore list in your messenger. These three can be reason for not receiving any mail. You can try sending a mail to 2 address at a time, which will confirm you that your sent message was transmitted correctly.

No email can not be sent or compuse or reply


After deleting and recreating an account in Mail, you might not be able to send emails even if you can receive them. When you try to send a message, this alert may appear:
"Cannot send message using the server smtp.xxxxx.com"
This happens if the Simple Mail Transport Protocol (SMTP) server, used for outgoing messages, was incorrectly entered with the first account even if it was correctly entered for the replacement account.
Products Affected Mail
Resolution You should first verify that the network connection you're using is the correct one for the ISP that you want mail to communicate with.
  1. Open Mail.
  2. From the Mail menu, choose Preferences
  3. Click Accounts.
  4. On the Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) pop-up menu, choose Edit Server List.
  5. Delete all entries for the SMTP server that is mentioned in the error, and click Done.
  6. Configure the current SMTP server by clicking Server Setting.

    Note: If you need to use multiple SMTP servers for multiple Mail accounts, see this document.
  7. Send a test message to your email address.
