Question about ViewSonic N3251w 32 in. LCD HDTV
Here is a location where the fellow did an oopsie, and rated the solution too fast..and then did not know or care to reverse it..i do not really care about the dinero..just that this fellow does not get too weirded out.
I understand what he's saying about the site not being very intuitive. Issues like that are hard for us to perceive because as we gain familiarity with the site, we lose our fresh eyes.
We actually discourage Experts from posting a short, incomplete solution and then using the comment function to flesh out their answer. We call it placeholding (although I realize that that may not have been your intent). The only way you would have known that we discourage that practice would be if you'd received one of the warnings we send out about it. You also could have seen it if you were one of the very few people who read my blog entry http://blog.fixya.com/2008/09/theres-a-new-sheriff-in-town/. Basically, we need to make that information much more visible on the site. Our head of customer support is coming to California at the end of the month. She and I will be working on making a user-friendly set of guidelines that we will post somewhere easily accessible on the site.
