Lost driver for Kreiser ELM-1900BA monitor

I recently had a new video card put in my computer. I no longer have the driver for the LCD monitor that I purchased two years ago from a private computer repair shop. I just need to download the right driver

The monitor is a Kreisen ELM-1900MB TFT-LCD Monitor.
The video card is a NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200-put in by my local computer guys yesterday.

The issue you are describing may be with your video card rather than the monitors. Do you have an onboard video jack? If so, hook one of the monitors to this jack and disable the video driver for your installed vidio card. If it works, you have the answer. If you do not have an onboard card perhaps you can borrow a video card from another computer to test if it is indeed your video card or monitors. You might also try to uninstall and then reinstall the driver from your video card maker. They usually have driver downloads on the site. Lastly, you can buy a cheap video card for testing and if you discover it is your video card buy a new one.

You have to find the correct driver for your video card controller. Check the manufacturer's website. You can also try a Roll Back Driver in Device Manager. Hope that helps.

My screen has recently begin to flicker intermittently.

Try hooking the monitor up to another computer and see if you experience the same problem. If you don't have another computer, attempt to hook up another monitor to the same computer and see if you experience the same problem. If the problem sticks with this and only this monitor, then more than likely you have some bad capacitors in the monitor, which may be replaceable but require a bit of work to fix. Else you may be looking at a new monitor if this isn't under warranty any longer.
If the problem happens with another monitor on this same computer however, it sounds like you have some video card issues and you probably want to look into getting a new one of those.

The problem is not the LCD monitor; the problem is that the current device-driver for your computer's video-card is a "generic" ("low-resolution") device-driver.

Open "Device Manager".
Expand the "Display Adapter" section.
Double-click the video-card.
Click "update driver" and let Windows access the Internet, to search for a better driver.

My lcd screen not showing display but its in green led

this may be a problem with your lcd or most likely with your video card.
first rule out the lcd:

the best way to do it is either attempting to connect a known good monitor to your computer and see if that gets you picture, if it does replace the lcd monitor, alternatively move the lcd monitor and connect it to a known good pc to see if you get the lcd to show you something if not, replace the monitor or have it serviced (if you have any warranty left make sure you take it first to where your purchase it for them to take a look at it and replace it if applicable).

if you now know that your lcd still works and is the computer you need to troubleshoot the video controller (video card). now the video card may have gone bad or is just a driver issue.
if it is a driver issue you can try to start your computer into safe mode.
if it works then you need to go online on another machine and look for a new driver for your video card and operating sytem and install it right in safe mode. then restart and see if the issue is corrected.
if you can't go into windows in safemode and there's still no picture you may need to get a new video card for your system.

hope that helps finding a solution.

My pc monitor will go to a totaly white screen

First, check the monitor on another computer. then check your video drivers. If you have an intergrated card, meaning it's built into *********** board, you may need to purchace a video card. If you have a video card, load the latest drivers from another computer onto a CD/DVD (whichever type of drive that your comp has) and install it. if that doesn't work you may need a new video card all together.

I have recently replaced my 19" monitor with a smaller LCD monitor, but I can not get anything on the screen when the pc boots up, also have the same problem with a second older monitor????

Did you replace because the old monitor was not working. If so, you probably have a bad video card. I would suggest a new video card if this is the case.

My monitor flickers then goes black

It could be the capacitors on your monitor's Power Supply. Open up the lcd and check the power supply board see if you see any "BULGED UP" capacitors. If thats the case you most likely just need to replace the bad capacitors. Go to radio shack or electronics supply store buy the same capacitors with the same mF and volts. If you can't find the same ones then always go with higher voltage. Replace the bad ones with new ones following this video. Make sure you note the negative terminals on the CAPS before you remove them. The shorter side on the new CAP is always negative.
