Question about HP OfficeJet D135 All-In-One InkJet Printer

Ready to smash this piece of ****!!! Turn it on, try to copy, says it's warming up, than scanner failure. Will print from the computer, but won't color or b/w copy, scan or fax. Have tried the reset over and over again (#3,6,9) unplugging, all that....nothing works. HELP!

This nine year old has served you well, sorry to say, but it's time to get a new one! Printers are only made to last about 5-6 years maximum, and you got your money's worth.
The current replacement model for this one is the HP OfficeJet 6500 and it's on sale a lot for only $100. Or since you have saved up lots of money by not getting a replacement printer sooner (in the past 5 years), go for the OfficeJet 8500 on sale for about $200 and you can turn in this old printer for a $50 rebate.

Displays " Scanner Failure"


I've seen a similar issue on other HP All-In-Ones. I had to contact support, but all they do is make sure you try connecting the printer to the wall outlet instead of a surge supressor, then a different wall outlet, then reset to factory defaults. After that didn't work, they submitted an replacement order.

Hp d135 copy function makes copy in green instead of black


ur tri color cartridge may have run out. change it and try again. if it doesn't work try calibrating ur scanner.

Scanner failure


1. Check scanner light by trying to make a copy.
Caution: do not look directly in the light
3. Perform a power cycly
* Unplug the power cord from the product while its still on
* Plug the power cord back again after 30 seconds
4. Perform a semi-full reset
* Unplug the power cord from the product while its still on
* Press and hold # and 6 while plugging the power cord
* Do not release the button unless the printer would say reset
5 If you still have the problem replace your printer
