No the dg300 will not send any pictures through messaging.if i add text with the picture nothing goes through still, says transmission unsuccesfull. just text works fine, internet works fine .i have also tried several differnt messaging apps and they all do the same thing.i have 2 of these phones brand new same setup and net10 account unlimited talk text and data, both new sim cards doing the same thing
for sending text messages : 1.go to your message settings and check the message center number to see if it is correct 2. call to your network operator customer care 3. request the message center number... 4.note it down 5. go to message settings>message center number 6. insert the number which is noted by you and save it
with an MMS-enabled phone you can: Take digital photographs and store photographs on the Internet Send and receive full colour pictures Send and receive voice clips Add a text message to your picture Purchase pictures and sounds from the Internet Have enhanced polyphonic ringtones MMS runs over GPRS. You normally need to subscribe to a GPRS tariff, and have 'Media Messaging' enabled by your network operator. You will need a phone handset that supports the MMS service - If you receive an MMS message and don't have a suitable handset or GPRS service, you'll receive a standard SMS text message, and will be able to view the message at the web address included with the text message.
If you are not able to send/recieve MMS messages, then there is an internet blockage on your phone number. Have the bill payer call at&t customer service unblock internet from your phone because it blocks all inbound and outbound internet even though its free to get picture messages if you have unlimited texting.
The unlimited messaging feature does not include internet and picture messaging requires internet to be able to send/receive. You need to call AT&T and see if you have an internet feature or go to www.wireless.att.com and register your mobile number and see if you have an internet feature. If not then that is why it is not working
Make sure you have some sort of data plan since picture messages are sent as text messages with attachments. These attachments must be sent over the data network. So make sure you have a data plan even if it is pay per use. If you do, contact AT&T technical support and have them check your Snooper provisioning especially your APN.
