Question about Uniden Cordless Phone
This is a portable home telelphone. I removed the batteries, waited a few minutes, and replaced the SAME batteries. Now the phone works perfectly. Maybe it needed to be reset?

I suspect this is for a portable home telephone. I have three handsets that I purchased as a set, of portable telephones. When the battery goes to "Low Battery" it cuts out and the phone displays "Searching..." I got so annoyed that I went out and bought new Panasonic phones. These are not new phones, and I am just sick of the problem.

I had the same problem and I replaced the power supply for the base unit and that solved it.

What kind of phone are you dealing with.. i assume its a cell phone... what brand ... it sounds like the antenna is messed up or no longer connected to the motherboard in the phone ..
