    I have the model F25408, 240 volt, 2500 watts, 10.4 amps, 96 in

I wired it throu the MD26 line voltage thermostat

I have the 20 amp white wire to the red input on the thermostat, 20 amp black wire to the red input on the thermostat,

I then took the white from the black output to the red on the baseboard heater, black from the black output to the black on the baseboard

I took the ground from the breaker box, to the thermostat to the baseboard heater.

I have 120 volts on each black and white wire but the heater will not heat.

If I understand you correctly the two black wires (from heater) are caped off with a wire nut and the black and red with crimp ons are attached to something? If so attack the black wire to one of the black caped off leads from heater and the other caped off wire to the white wire from the 10/2 cable. Make sure that that 10/2 wire is attached to a 2-pole breaker not larger than 30-amps.

It sound alright but You should draw out a wiring diagram on paper first before you tackle the job that way you know you're doing it right.

Good luck Dickson

Hello. The red and the black are the hot wires. Therefore, connect one of your conductors to the red and the other conductor to the black. Use wirenuts. The bare ground wire should be solidly attached to the new unit's green wire using a wire nut.

I have the Fahrenheat Model FUH 724 heater. The manual states that it can be wired as a 240v 7500W unit but the directions and the unit itself only allow for three wires to be connected Black, White, and...

1st you will belucky if you actually have 240 v, most
homes are usually 220v. In youyr case you need to start at the breaker panel.

This is an example:
You have a Double Pole Single Throw breaker. Black
Wire is hot and goes into one side of breaker,if you havea red wire that goes into the other have of the
breaker.

The white wire ties in the nuetral bar and the bare wire into the ground bus bar. At the unit you hook up the red and the black wire which will supply the 240
Volts, you could tie the white and the ground wires together into the grounding terminal

I have 2-240V (4.2V) basebaord heaters, Need Wiring Diagram

you get 120V from any phase (black OR red) to neutral
you get 240V from phase to phase (between black and red) and in this scenario you don't need the white wire.
So for you, connect the black to 1 pole of the breaker and the red to the other pole, connect the green wire to the ground strip and you are done.
A white wire is NEVER connected to a circuit breaker anyway, it is a grounded wire, it would be like connecting a green wire to a black wire, bad idea.
the National electrical code specifies red and black wire color for 240VAC circuits.
As Ask Hank mentionned, nothing wrong with 10/3 wire.

Not sure hooked up correctly

The black and white wires should both go to the breaker. Not just the black wire. If you hook only the black wire to the breaker then you are only feeding the unit with 110 instead of 220. Both wires need to be hot.

How to wire 1 plf 1504d heater

I have the solution, finally after looking for 2 days.

First off, I couldn't quite put it all together based on what I was reading. I finally tracked down the Fahrenheat web site (www.fahrenheatpro.com). And called tech support (800) 452-4179.

To wire 2 BB units to 1 tstat.

1. Use #14 wire for 0-12 amps, #12 wire for 12.1 to 16 amps and #10 wire for 16.1 to 24 amps.

2. I have a 12/2 wire going from the tstat to BB#1 and another 12/2 wire going from BB1 to BB2.

3. Onthe left side of the heater, you will have 2 sets of black wires tied together with a nut (on right side it's 2 sets of Black/Red wires). You can use either side of the heater. For the purpose of explaining this, lets use the left side, 2 sets of black wires.

4. Undo one of the sets of black wires (it doesn't matter witch), the other set will be left alone.

5. Take the black wire coming from the tstat and tie it into one of the black wires from the heater and the black wire going to the second BB unit. So you will have those 3 wires tied together with a nut at the 1st BB unit.

6. Take the white wire coming from the tstat and tie it into the other black wire from the heater and the white wire going to the other BB heater. Again, you will have 3 wire tied together here.

7. At the second BB unit, tie the black wire coming from the 1st unit to one of the black wires in one of those 2 sets of black wires. Again, only undo 1 set of wires at the 2nd unit, leave the other one alone. Tie the white wire coming from the 1st unit to the other black wire.

8. Make sure ground wire in grounded at the tstat and at both BB units.

Hope this helps...... If I was less clear than I hoped, call tech support and they will walk you thru it....

Kevin.
