The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). ATI should give you the software in a zipped file as a free download. If they do, then save it to your desktop, and later, when you go to install it, unzip it to a file. It should install. Just choose the support and download section on the ATI site.

There is a lot of incompatability between cameras and computers. The best way to get around it completely is get a card reader.Remove the SD card from the computer and insert into the card reader, then plug the card reader into the USB port. Try Picasa3 free software from Google to download images. Good luck. This always works.

This tool from intel detects the available wifi networks and collectsthe authentication details and automatically connects when the networkdisconnects due to signal dropping.

You can think of changing the desktop/laptop network to "private"instead of "public" to avoid frequent signal dropping. Try to work froma place which is close to the router so tat the wifi signal is strong.
