Question about LG Shine KE970 Cellular Phone
My computer is not connecting to the internet through my phone, when i press connect it is saying restart computer before new USB modem takes effect, but when i restart it still saying the same thing what do i do to solve this problem.
Set the homepage to: http://device.home
Set the Bearer: GPRS
User ID: WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM
1. Scroll to and select Proxy Settings and press OK.
* IP Address: 188.8.131.52
* Port Number: 80
2. Press the End call key to return to the standby screen
I found this on the web, its a little different then how I did mine, so here it is in case mine doesn't work for you:
here you go...it works !!!
Phone Setting>Connectivity>Access Point: (Data Setting)
User: WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM (all caps)
Password: CINGULAR1 (ALL UPPERCASE)
Browser>Settings>Profiles: (Internet Setting)
Service Name: Media Net
Connection mode: TCP without proxy
Access Point: ATT
Messaging>Settings>MMS>MMS center: (MMS setting)
Title: ATT MMS
MMSC URL: http://mmsc.cingular.com/
Connection Mode: TCP with Proxy
Access point: ATT
