Question about Saitek Cyborg Rumble Pad Game Pad
I am 46 years old. I want to set up my controller without all the tecnical
information that the manual explains. I do not understand the manual, nor
what to do.
I have pc games that I want to play because I am used to a controller and not the keys. Though I am told that once I switch to FPS on the rumble pad that I am able to play without the setup, this I find to not be true. I want to play Call of Duty.
Please help this young man at heart.
Ok well here is what i did for using the direction pad to play flatout, a pc racing game, using the Wireless rumblepad 2 controller. First open up profiler, click on d-pad, select assignment, then click new POV assignment. Put a check on FPS style movement. Then click edit, then click new keystroke. Hit record and then on the keyboard hit the up, down, left and right keys. Then hit stop and click ok. click cancel on the window right behind it. So now you are viewing the POV assignment window that we opened before. Here what you do is, say for instance hit the "N" button and then to the right of it you see "pov north", hit the scroll down menu and hit "keystroke Up" for N. Like wise you click the "E" button and for POV east you assign "Keystroke right". And so like wise "keystroke down" for "S" and "keystroke left" for "W". Once you have all that done. You hit ok and just open up whatever game you want to play and the Direction pad should be able to allow you to steer or go in the up, down, left or right direction. Hope these instructions help solve your problem.
