My printer worked well for several months, now suddenly it will not print from any word processing programme. I can print emails or anything from the internet that has a 'printer friendly' version, but when I try to print a document the job appears to go to the printer, but nothing prints. The print queue doesn't show any pending jobs, they just go to the completed jobs line without printing.

sorry mate they dont do a driver for osx Mac OS
All the HP LaserJet printers covered by this document, except for the HP LaserJet 1018 and 1020 Series
and the HP LaserJet CP1210 Series
, are compatible with the latest versions of Mac OS X (Mac OS X 10.4 and Mac OS X 10.5).
I dont use macs do i could not tell you have to manage the print queue but there is something you can try.
Take the power lead out of the printer and leave it out for 5 minutes and let the printers memory clear then re-send the print, it could a big print and the printer only has small memory so it could take awhile to process :)
I removed any printer configurations for this printer in both my pc and my mac (both usb and wireless). Then I restarted both computers and added the printer via usb again to each. At that point I went back to the extreme configuration and under the printers tab it was finally seeing Hewlett Packard Laserjet 1020. After that, adding via Bonjour went smoothly on both platforms.
