Disconnected battery on a 91 acura legend and dont have unlock code for radio

You can get this at the local Honda dealer. All you need is your VIN#. It may cost a little but is worth getting the right code. Hope this helps.

Will charging my new Nuvi in the car while the car is not running run down my car battery?

Any power that your car puts out while it is running uses battery power. However, the power use from charging your Nuvi will take a very long time to run out the car battery unless your car battery already has a weak charge.

Many cars will not charge items through the cigarette lighter/outlet when the car is not running. You might check, as it is possible that the Nuvi isn't charging at all when the car is off anyways.

I got a new battery from my acura. After the new battery was put in my car the radio stopped working and required a code in order for it to work again. I need help in finding the code for my radio

If you can provide the necessary information then your ACURAcode is available here for free If not then the code will only be available from your localHonda Dealer or a Decoding Service ...who will plug in a laptop to read/recodeyour memory chip (EEPROM)

I bought a '99 Odyessy with an Acura 4XJ0 radio in it. After purchasing the van, the seller did some work on it disconnecting the battery. Now I need the unlock code. The complete serial number is...

Although it may be necessary to go to a VW dealer and pay them a 'service charge' (bribe) so they will pull it up from the system but in many cars, the number is on the vehicle but not obvious.
Check under the trunk lid for any stickers there; there are often paint codes and other specific details there and another place it could be is under the lid or panel concealing fuses.
There is an inexpensive device available from chain auto parts stores that has a connector for a 9 volt battery and a plug that fits the cigarette lighter (or 'power jack) that will prevent the loss of stored settings like the radio.

1992 Acura legend radio code

There is a little card (biz card size or smaller) or sticker with a code on it in the Owner's Manual. Well, they actually issue it separately and you're supposed to keep it with your car documents somewhere.

If that is lost, the only legitimate way I know of is your local Honda/Acura dealer. They will get it for you based on the serial number of the radio or the VIN of the car. They will charge you labor to extract the radio from the dash to get the serial#. If you pull the radio yourself they may waive the fee, but you should have the matching car there with you so they will feel comfortable it's not hot. I wrote the code for my old radio in sharpie right on the radio - you could check to see if someone already did this before.
