I dont have any control of the camera anymore, since the display has gone away. I can see it a little bit...also, before it started going away, the controls did not work consistantly. Any suggestions....Sony will fix it for $271.00 starting out...it could get higher.

Please mention if the fault is related to full failure of the display in which case the power supply or the display section is faulty, failure of the back up inverter circuit cannot be ruled out and in all these cases you need to open the unit to test and confirm.
Set the camera's release mode to one of the two remote modes. The quick-response remote mode fires the shutter when you press the button on the remote. The delayed remote mode gives you two seconds to hide the remote behind your back before firing the shutter.
To set the camera's release mode, press the [info] button to display the information screen. Press the [i] button to put the cursor into the information display. Use the direction keys on the multiselector to highlight the release mode (fourth item from the top, along the right edge of the screen) and press [OK]. Use the direction keys to highlight the desired mode and press [OK].
For further information, please refer to the "Release Mode" section in the manual (page 65 in my copy of the manual).
Elmo TT-02rx is a color document camera so it should work that way all the time. If it is not operating in full color, then you have a connectivity issue, a display issue or possible an issue with the camera itself. Are you connecting to a projector or a monitor? Or are you connecting via the USB cable?
