I have not pulled the frig from the wall.. I will try that... The same coils on the bottom that I cleaned in from the front? As for the freezer it's working fine and sounds the same... Question is ? THe frig and freezer work together or seperatley? Since one not working and the other is I am assuming something is just clogged or needs adjusting?

    Thanks so much

My ge TCD18PADBWW has a bottom freezer that works but the fridge will not cool. The defrost drip hose up in the refridgerator ( in the back) had frozen water in it. I used a hairdryer to melt the ice, put it all back together and everything worked well for a couple of weeks. It then stopped working correctly again. I repeated the hairdryer process two days ago with an initial positive result but the fidge is already warming. Is this a thermostat--can I fix it myself?

Water is dripping from the bottom of the fridge (slow drip). How do I fix it. I have a Maytag French Door stainless steel fridge (4-year-old) with freezer on the bottom.

There should be a drip tray catching the defrost water... it may be overfull... Try to remove it and empty it. The tray is actually supposed to have a heat evaporator to dry up the water before it overflows. Your may be fuller due to excessive frost also... from hot temperatures outside or opening the fridge too often or for too long... good luck!

LG LFx25960ST Refrigerator Bottom Freezer Error Er FF

You may have to have a tech look at these voltages and get the correct Main PCB or Freezer Fan Motor for this unit. Awhile back, LG had a problem with "icing-up" in the freezer around the fan blade. They came up with a different Main PCB which lengthened the defrost cycle and adjusted the freezer fan cycling times.

Fridge not working

I've had this happen to my Kenmore 73503 several times. The 1st time took me a few hours to figure out what the problem was.

Basically the fridge is cooled from the freezer, so when you say your freezer is -2 degrees, it's a big tip off to the problem.

If you look very close in the freezer compartment at the back, you'll notice an opening with a little door at the top of the freezer compartment. This opening extends up the inside of the back of the fridge to the top of the fridge area via a square plastic tube.

Basically what happens in my fridge is the family loads the freezer to high especially at the top/back. This restricts or closes off the opening for the cold air to the fridge portion of the appliance ....resulting in a warm fridge, but cold freezer. Just remove the articles at the back of the freezer to correct problem. (It will take a few hours for the cold air to cool the fridge down)

Note: the temperature control unit in the fridge area controls the little door at the top of the freezer compartment, so if you haven't blocked off the opening, the next place to look would be either at the mechanical parts of the little door or the temperature control unit itself in the fridge
