LogiK washing machine never a days problem till today can I fix it myself?

Hi Sharon, The link below could hold the answer... Please read and then click the link for more information...... I have no idea but hope this helps...CHEERS..
To perform the Master Reset, carefully unplug the washing machine from the power outlet and leave it unplugged for one minute. After one minute is up, plug the washer cord back into the wall. Next, open and close the door of the washing machine 6 times within 12 seconds to send a "reset" signal to all the components.(This is a common fix that many appliance repair mechanics use - it works on about 50% of all washing machines.) Once the reset has been completed set the washer to do a small load
with no clothes in the washer. See if the washer goes through with the cycle as normal. If the washer
performs correctly, then it has been reset and is fixed. If not refer to more troubleshooting techniques and causes of problems below.
If that did not solve the problem then it may be the "Lid Switch". Top loading washing machines that
have a faulty lid switch will not turn the agitator and the spin cycle will not start. However on some washing machine models it will still agitate but not spin. To properly check this you must remove the lid switch.

Why wont my philco washing machine drain or spin

Many washing machines won't spin or drain if the lid isn't closed. It could be that the switch detecting the lid close position isn't working or the tang that presses the switch isn't depressing the switch enough. Check to see if the lid is closing all the way, if so, then locate lid close switch and pressing on the switch with a Q-tip. If other functions stop when the lid is opened and work when the lid is closed then you have another problem. The problem could be in the wash cycle switch, try spin and rinse all the different settings.

The washer shuts down in mid cycle

Hello. LG washing machines come in a widevariety of models, each with unique features, functions and design. Many of thebasic functions of each model are universal when it comes to running the washcycle. If the washing machine stops in the middle of a wash cycle, the firststep that should be taken is to perform troubleshooting steps to determine thecause of the problem. After the source of the trouble has been established, itcan be resolved in most cases by continuing the troubleshooting process. 1 Make sure the lid is completely closed. Certain partsof a wash cycle will not start if the lid is not closed.
2 Check the load to see whether it isunbalanced. If the washer gets off balance, it may stop in the middle of acycle. Redistribute the clothing so that it is evenly balanced around the drum.
3 Make sure the hot and cold water faucetsconnected to the washing machine are turned on fully. If the washing machine isnot getting enough water, it will not be able to complete the cycle.
4 Inspect the drain hose for clogs orobstructions. The washing machine may stop if it is unable to drain waterproperly. Check the drain pipe that the hose feeds into for clogs or debris.
5 Check the house's circuit breaker panel orfuse box. The circuit may have been tripped or a fuse may be blown. Replace anyblown fuses and reset any tripped circuits.

The washer did not drain

if its a whirlpool or kenmore, it will not drain if it thinks the lid is open. the lid hits a paddle in the top that actavates a switch. it should click when closing the lid. You may just need a new lid switch.

Washing machine stops mid-cycle, water doesn't drain

Sounds like you have a bad lid switch, or the plastic plunger on the lid that engages the lid switch is broke. if the plunger is broke, it is cheap, and only 2 screws to remove and put new one on. if that is not broke, check the lid switch. This model is a lid switch, and lid lock in one. You can test it before replacing it if you have a meter. you need to hinge the lid up to check and replace the lid switch. use a putty knife, on each side between the top and top of the front panel. slide the putty knife in one side, it will hit a bracket if your in the right spot. press in, and lift on that side of the top. do the same on other side, just don't let go of the first side or it will latch again. then swing the top back, the back side is on hinges. the lid switch is on the right side attached to the top. unplug washer, remove the 2 wires on the switch and check continuity. there should be continuity, or "open" when the lid is closed, and no continuity, or "closed" when you open the lid. if it is "closed" even when lid is closed, replace the lid switch. let me know if you have any further questions, shane.

Problem in my washing Machine

If your timer is stopping at the drain cycler (before the rinse) check the LID SWITCH. Most washers will not drain or continue the cycle if this switch is not closed. Open the lid and look for an opening in the housing were the lid sits. try depressing it manually while the timer is at the drain cycle.
