Problem Uploading Photos to Craigslist

Hi ... just found this site and hoping someone can help. I am having problems uploading any photo files to internet sites such as Craigslist or Ebay. Worked just fine earlier yesterday, but I have toddler twins, and one of them was messing with the keyboard yesterday. Could they have messed up something that is making it impossible to upload photos?

Thanks in advance for any help you can give :).

Hi kdnew,

Try a simple reboot to start . send yourself an image in email(this requires an alternate email)if this goes through it confirms you can send images over the internet. Also, try resizing your images in a photo editor, the system could be detecting images too large to upload.

I cannot upload photos into Craigslist while using Windows 7. I had no problem with Windows XP. Resizing the photos does not help. Can you help? Is it a defect with Win. 7? I also have problems...

Hi,
I don't think which OS you are using to upload a image to Craigslist. Means whether Win XP, Win7, Mac or any other os doesn't have n=anything to do with Craigslist's uploading.
As you said there might be some problem in Win7 finding a path through a third party method. See whether you system requirement for installing Win7. If the system requirement does not achieve the minimum such problems can arise in win7.
Hope this helps, please rate and let me know if any assistance needed, thanks!

Trying to get a photo taken in a camera on to an internet site

Hi,
As much I want to help you the best way I can your question is not that specific, but don't worry let me answer it in the manner that I understand it. Correct me if I am wrong, you are trying to upload in to the internet the picture that you took from a camera? If this is correct. All you need to do is go to a website that offers uploading photos in the internet for free or paid. There are tons of websites like ImageShack and Photobucket that you can choose from.
I hope I answered your question correctly.
Thanks a lot!!

What is meant by File type not supported

The file which you are trying to access is not supported from where you are trying to access it.
For example: In few sites there are options to upload photos but it will take photos of JPEG format alone .If you upload an PNG format file you will get the error file type not supported.

HOW DO I SEND PHOTOS WITH MY YMAIL

Depending on what email program you are using there is a couple of good ways to do this depending on the sizes of the photos and how much uploading space your service will allow you. Either copy and paste the photos in your email to the lettering portion either at the top or the bottom of the email or look for the button that says attachments. Click on that and go to where the photo is located and click the photo you desire to send it will appear in the attachment area of your email. John

How do i upload pics on my computer to facebook

Hi,

First, login to your facebook account. Next, click on the profile link at the upper right corner of your screen (You would see there Home, Profile, and account). Once on your profile page, there should be a tab named Photos (beside the wall tab and info tab), click on it. Once on that page, click on the create photo album button on the upper right corner of the tab. On the next page, you would be asked to create a photo album as well as select the photos (select the drive and location where your pictures are saved and click on the thumbnails of images to mark it for uploading) that you want to upload. after selecting the pictures and images, just click on the create album and then just wait for a couple of minutes while facebook uploads your photos. You would receive a confirmation whether you want to share it or not as proof that the images were succesfully loaded.

hope this helps

How do i rotate my photo on facebook

Don't think you can edit photos on Facebook, aside from tagging and adding captions. Instead you need to edit your photo before uploading it to Facebook.

I think you can accomplish this by just right-clicking on the photo and then select "rotate clockwise" or "rotate counterclockwise" from the menu then save it again before you exit. Then you can upload the photo as it is-done!

Hope this helps!

How to use or install windows xp uploader to use in uploading photos in friendster?

Hi,

This is a multi-stage process ... it takes some effort to get it working but it is worth it in the end

first, on Friendster's Upload Photos page, click the link for the "Windows XP Uploader Wizard" to download and install the registry file that enables the "XP Publishing Wizard" ... just click on "Open" in the Download Complete dialog or double click the xppubwiz.reg file ... now when you open My Computer and select your photo you will see a new option in the left-hand pane under "File and Folder Tasks" entitled "Publish this file to the Web" ... click on that to launch the Web Publishing Wizard

click Next and it will give you the opportunity to "Change Your File Selection" by checking and unchecking the corresponding boxes, but since the file you selected is already checked we can skip that ... now the wizard wants to know where you want to publish the file ... the first time you use the wizard you will probably only have one choice: "MSN Groups" ... if you have a Windows Live or .NET Passport ID you can use that; otherwise the wizard will help you create one ... so select "MSN Groups", then click Next and select a folder where you want your photo to be published

now, the whole reason we are going through this agonizing procedure is that your photo is too big to upload directly, so the wizard complains about the file size ... no problem, click Next and then Next again and the wizard asks if you want to resize the file ... check the Yes box and select whichever file size you like ... click Next again and the wizard will compress and upload your photo ... with any luck you will see that your upload was successful, so click Next and the wizard will inform you that you have successfully published your file and that a shortcut has been added to "My Network Places" ... so click Finish

but we are still only half way there ... now, open your Friendster page, go to the Upload Photos page and click on "Browse Files" just like normal ... remember that shortcut that was added in "My Network Places"? navigate to Desktop, then "My Network Places", then follow the long chain down to the folder where you published your photo ... double click your file and you are back at Friendster and you can click "Start Upload" ... mission accomplished

and now we get the pay off for all your hard work ... the next time you use the wizard to upload a large file, in addition to "MSN Groups", the wizard will offer you the "Friendster Bulk Upload" ... select that, click Next, enter your Friendster login info and select the album you want your photo to appear in ... now when the wizard has resized your photo it will be uploaded directly to the album you selected!!

one more bit of house-keeping ... you can still use your MSN Group folder to upload your photos to other sites, but you only have 3 MB for your files unless you buy extra space ... so you may have to delete some old files to make room for new ones

hope this helps, Please rate my response! Thanks!!
