Mine resets itself too. Today it erased all of my texts, around 40 chat logs including directions I need for later!

Is there any way to regain that information?

Perform a Hard reset on the device and then rename the backup folder to backup.old on the computer which is located in C---->program files---->Palm---->user name folder. Then perform a HotSync with the computer.

The effective solution for that is do a hard reset.
Yes, it will erase all the data in your device but it usually fix the problem.
If problem persist, the phone is malfunctioning.

To do a hardreset:
-remove the backcover, and then the battery.
-press and hold the red power button. And then insert the battery in.
-Do not release the button until you no longer see the bar crossing at the bottom of the screen
-It will ask you 'erase all data?'

Try to do a hardreset before going to the store for a replacement.

Nobis tablet turns off and on but all else does not work...no screen with app..states everything has stopped working

Sounds like you have some type of software corruption. What I'd do is try to factory reset the device. This will wipe the tablet, but at least you'll have it working again!

To factory reset your phone, Just follow this simple steps below: *Turn off your Tablet *Press and hold Power key and Volume down key at the same time *Release the keys when the recovery mode appears, then navigate using volume up key to Wipe All user data and use the power key to select that option *Wait for a DONE message that will appear in your phone. *Then restart your phone using the power key. Done!

My zte warp restarts itself often

When a device randomly turns off or restarts, the likely root causes for rebooting might be the apps that are installed or a loose battery placement or device hardware fault. So Remove the battery and inspect it for damage or loose contact in the battery compartment for rebooting issue and try to uninstall some unwanted apps, even do a master reset and software update from ZTE official website all these trouble shooting will fix your phone issue.

hi,its a virus attack that could be solved with the use of anti-virus or you take it to a mobile phone repairer for proper check.to see if the screen is not having what we call a partial contact.the mobile phone engineer is the best advice or you return it to the storev you purchased it from,i guess it will still have its warranty on it.than ks.

Phone turning

It seems you might have a hardware problem. Have you tried resetting it?

1) key in 3845#*990#
2) scroll down to factory reset option in the Test Mode menu.
3) wait till it's done resetting and it'll restart by itself.

If resetting it doesn't work, then you might have to hand it over to LG to get it fixed.

iPhone Troubleshooting: How to Restart, quit frozen apps and Reset iPhoneby David Chartier on Jul 18th 2007 at 9:00AM
iphone_225.jpgI'm starting to think there is some sort of bad luck attached to my iTunes Store account, as tonight I experienced the third iTunes Store song that completely locked up an iPod - only this time it was my iPhone. While listening to 'Again with the Subtleties' from the Yppah album You Are Beautiful At All Times (US iTunes link) in my iPhone's iPod app, the phone completely locked up at the end of the track with an almost-faded out display. What was worse, the iPhone became completely unresponsive - the display wouldn't accept any of my taps, and even the external buttons were ignored. Momentarily wishing I could simply yank the battery to cut the power and reset the phone, I realized Apple must have some sort of a contingency in place for lock-ups like these.

Fortunately, I was right: The iPhone troubleshooting section of Apple's main iPhone support site contains a walkthrough for situations like this, complete with instructions on how to restart the phone, force quit a frozen app or reset the phone in cases like mine where it has completely locked up. Here are these steps in a nutshell:
  • Restart your iPhone: Most people probably already know how to do this, but just in case, you can simply hold the sleep/wake button on the top for a few seconds to bring up a red slider at the top of the display which allows you to power off the phone.
  • Quit a frozen iPhone app: I know it's a crazy thought, but it is entirely possible that Apple's wondrous iPhone apps can lock up from time to time. In this case, simply hold the Home button when in the app for about 6 seconds to kill the app. You should be able to jump back into the app without restarting the phone itself.
  • Reset your iPhone: Note that this is not Restoring your iPhone; that's the button in iTunes that wipes the iPhone and all your information on it. Resetting an iPhone is nothing more than a hard reset or a forced reboot - you're simply cutting the power and making it reboot. To do this, hold the sleep/wake button and Home buttons simultaneously for a few seconds; the display will quickly wipe itself and you should see the black background and white Apple logo, signifying a reset well done.
Fortunately, that reset fixed my problem and I'm jamming again with my iPhone as I write this. Still, you can be sure that I'll ping iTunes support to find out what's going on with these files, as this is the third one I've downloaded from the iTS that's caused an iPod to stop dead in its tracks. Anyone else experience something like this? You know where to sound off.

Phone keeps resetting itself

See if the phone restarts wihtout the simcard/memory card. If that doesn't work then check the battery - take it out and wipe the gold contacts with a cloth. Put it back in firmly.

If all of these do not work, backup your files and do a Master Reset on your phone. This will delete everything and make the phone like new. Make sure anything you want to keep is backed up.
