Blackberry Curve 8310 Media Player display problem

Open media player to play songs. Select "All songs" and it displays a list of songs that I don't even have on my phone. I have formated my memory card, SD 1 GB, but still have the same problem. It displays the same list even after deleting all the songs out of my phone. I store my songs on the memory card. I have checked the memory card and the phone internal memory and they are both clean of all songs. Little help please.

Thanks,
BrR

Try taking the battery out for a minute. Then put it back in...it should reload on it's own.

I cannot enter the pin code to unlock the blackberry.

Don't worry, try this step to insert your Blackberry Curve 8310 Unlock Code :

1 - Switch on your Blackberry Curve 8310 without any Sim card,
2 - Go to Options,
3 - Select Advanced Options,
4 - Select SIM Card,
5 - Hold the ALT Key while typing in MEPE or MEPD or MEPPE or MEPPD ( not case sensitive ) ( you will not see text appear on screen while typing ),
6 - You will then be presented with a prompt "Enter Network MEP Code". Type in the Unlock Code and press in the track wheel / jog dial to confirm,
7 - Your Blackberry Curve 8310 will now be unlocked.

If your phone still not unlocked, it means you have wrong blackberry unlock code. Don't try it again, and go to get new and correct unlock code.

My Blackberry curve 8310 constantly reboots when I'm in the middle of a text, a phone call, or when it's just sitting on my desk. It happens several times a day. It seems to happen less often if I...

This issue only occurs when trying to send a SMS text message from within the call details screen of a call in the call log.
To avoid this issue, complete the following steps to send a SMS text message from the call log screen:

  1. Open the Phone application.
  2. Open the Call Log by clicking the middle button in the toolbar.
  3. Touch the call log/contact in the list without clicking the screen.
  4. Display the menu, then select SMS Text (Name/Number).
  5. If required, rotate the BlackBerry smartphone to switch to landscape mode.

Blackberry curve from sprint

I am going to guess that since you can copy some types of media files to your phone then the problem is the format of the video files you want to copy. The phone's media playing application may not show files it cannot recognize.(or show an error message).

If you want to watch videos (or movies) on any type of smart phone or mobile player then I suggest you download a free application called Format Factory. It converts any type of media file to any other type of media file (video, music, pictures, DVDs). It has settings for Blackberry phones, iPods, PsP, etc. Go to: http://www.formatoz.com/ and check it out.

Sometimes you have to perform a hard reset after loading the songs on the device in order to get them to show. Do the following:
  1. Remove the battery cover.
  2. Remove the battery (while the device is still powered on).
  3. Reinsert the battery to reset the BlackBerry smartphone.

Blackberry Curve 8310 loading ringtones

Two ways:

1. Use the included Blackbery Desktop software and run "Media Manager". This will let you transfer any song on your computer over to the BB.

2. You can mount the BB as a drive in Windows and just copy the music file over directly. (This may only work if you have a media card installed -- might not work with built-in memory only.)

After copying the music over use the included Media application to try to play it. Once it plays in Media Manager you can be sure it will play as a ring tone.

Use the "Profiles" application and select "Advanced." Scroll to the "Tune" setting and select it. Scroll to the top of the list and select "Browse..." From there you can select the song and it will be a ringtone.

You can also set a ringtone individually for a contact in the address book. Edit the person's contact info and choose a custom ring tone at the bottom of the Edit screen.
