Question about Cell Phones

1 Answer

I own a blackberry 8100, and recently purchased a blackberry 8110. I am trying to convert all of my sim card information such as my adress book over to this new sim card that came already inside of the new phone. How do I do this, or is there another alternative such as putting my old sim card in the new phone?

You should be able to change out the sim card unless you have a carrier that runs off the sim card such as AT&T. Have you tried changing it out? It will not hurt the phone.

I have an iPhone 4 and recently purchased a Blackberry 8700 as a back up replacement phone. Can I use the sim card from the iPhone in the Blackberry 8700? If so, how do I insert it?

You can't because the iPhone 4 uses a new type of sim card called "Micro SIM" and it is too small to fit into the blackberry.

Trouble with contacts

Was your Sim card copied to the address book?

You may have to fix the entries copied from the sim card into the address book so that the cell phone number is in the correct field as well as the names. By default it may not be properly stored into the correct fields.
