Question about HP DesignJet 500ps (42 in.) InkJet Printer
I have an hp design jet 500 plotter that I need to recalibrate because the color is not right. I have all new ink cartridges but the color is not as it should be. I can't figure out how to recalibrate from the menu.
You need to enter the service calibrations menu, to do this select the set up menu, once inside the set up menu press the up arrow & enter keys together. This will take you to the service tools menu, from here select service calibrations (printhead alignment and colour calibration are both in this menu). If you still here problems after you have calibrated your machine or the calibration fail replace the printheads.
