Samsung mobile phone earpiece and ringer problem

Please use a handsfree headset on the phone and if there is problems hearing on both sides then the fault is with the main board , the ringer or the earpiece.
You need to open the phone to check on board.

Please connect an handfree and see if the call is clear to you and the caller. If so there is problems on the earpiece of the phone . if you meant that the ringer is not working then remove battery and then reset to factory default settings by opening menu- settings- restore factory settings- type 12345. If not the ringer circuit /speaker is faulty.
If under warranty Nokia will replace this free of charge.

Speaker working ok but ringer is not working

To give you an idea,

speaker or earpiece and ringer or buzzer is just one component (2 in 1 parts)

to be able fix this, try this method :

* lift up the cover or housing (you can use even finger thumbnail)

* you need a T6 precision screw.

* unscrew all sides of the front panel (consist of 6 screws)

* gently lift up the panel including the pcb or the mainboard.

* on the upper portion of the back housing, you can see the like a pentagon shape (a circle parts)which is meant to be the earpiece/buzzer we're looking for.

* check and try to clean it and re-align the 2 pins if its level or not.

* while on the circuit board, check the interface where the buzzer is align or connected,it might be dirty or filled with corrusion.

* now assemble your phone, fit it tight and check if your buzzer or ringer is working.

if this method didn't work, it needs a buzzer, earpiece replacement.and this will be possible if you can provide the parts or bringing it to a mobile service shop near you.

hope this solution helps...

Please advise as to how to increase the VOLUME on my DECT 6.0 phone.

To adjust the ringer volume:
  1. With the phone in standby, press ^ or v. The display shows the current volume level and the handset sounds the ringer at that level.
  2. Use ^ to make the ringer volume louder or use v to make it softer or turn it off completely.
  3. When you hear the ringer volume level you want to use, stop pressing keys. The handset will use the new ringer volume starting with the next incoming call.
Note: If you set the ringer volume to Off, the handset won't ring. If you have any accessory handsets, other handsets will ring according to their individual settings.

To adjust the earpiece volume:

You can choose from six volume levels for the handset earpiece. To adjust the earpiece volume while on a call, press ^ to make it louder or v to make it softer. The handset display shows the current volume level for the earpiece.

To adjust the speaker volume:

You can choose from six volume levels for the handset speaker while on a speakerphone call. To adjust the handset speaker volume, press ^ to make it louder or v to make it softer. The handset display shows the current volume level for the handset speaker.

Note: The handset earpiece and the handset speaker have separate volume settings.

My mobile is nokia 1600, speaker is not working call voice is not licening

Then it means the speaker and earpiece of the phone is bad, this is mostly caused by water damage or the phone hitting a hard object. You need to replace the earpiece of the phone to be able to use it effectively, but before you do that, you can use an external earpiece that you will connect to the earpiece connection port on the phone to receive calls and make calls before you replace the speaker of the phone.
Hope this information helped.

Describe your how to repair spekerProblem

It's good that you want to learn, but I am afraid if you are not yet done any training course. It's not easy, only troubleshooting is tough.
There are two speakers, Ringer and the Speaker, if you can't hear songs, ringtones, etc.. it's the problem with the ringer and if you can't hear keypad tones and call (without activating the Loudspeaker), the the problem is with the speaker which is fitted in the front portion of the phone where your ear place during when making/receiving calls. Replacing the speaker which with the faulty will fix the problem.

If both aren't working, you need to check the Earpiece (headset) whether it's working or not. If it's working, then there must be circuit short or continuity problem inside the board which is needed to be service by experienced technicians.
In case, Earpiece is also not working, then it's most likely with the Sound IC, you can replace it but no one can guarantee whether it would be successful or not.
Hope this helps.

Good luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.

Problem with Nokia 6300 - Can't hear anything

You need to changed,Your mouth piece, and you earpiece.

As for your ringer, it can be changed, but sometimes the problems always from the panel of the phone, and when it's from there, and ones is from there,it's damaged.

For your mouth piece and your earpiece it will workafter changing it.
