Every provider, will reset your password for free, when you did setup your account, and you still have access to the account you gave them while setting up their account. Some mail providers like Gmail and Yahoo, even can send a reset code to an old mail address if that was ever connected to the existing account. also for free. Make sure you goto the correct support page and not to a fake address, where they only ask for money.

How do i re-activate my inactive yahoomail account.?

If you had asked your question to Yahoo Help, this is what you would have found: Reactivate a deleted Yahoo account Has your account been closed, and you'd like to use it again? There's a possibility you can reactivate it. Review the steps below.
  1. On a desktop or laptop computer, sign in to your Yahoo account.
  2. Confirm your Yahoo ID and complete the CAPTCHA verification.
  3. Select Reactivate.
It may take up to 24 hours for your request to process. Any lost account data, like emails and contacts, cannot be recovered.
Recovery is not possible if:
  • The account was deactivated due to a violation of the Terms.
  • The account was deleted due to inactivity (you must sign-in at least once every 12 months).

Yahoo email access

One of the drawbacks of free email services is that they're easy to forget you have an account. Yahoo! Mail is just one of those free email services.

Say a few months go by, you've turned your attentions elsewhere, but you remembered you have a Yahoo! account and you want to check your email.

But after you log in, it informs you that your Yahoo! Mail is no longer active. What do you do?

Log in to your Yahoo! Mail account as usual.
A message will appear that says your account has been deactivated due to inactivity.

Reactivate your Yahoo! Mail by clicking on the "Reactivate Your Yahoo! Mail address" link that is located at the bottom of the page.

Sign into your account at least once a month to avoid automatic deactivation by Yahoo! in the future.

My yahoo mail websight has expired what do I do?

Thanks for visiting FixYa!

If you haven't signed in to your Yahoo! Mail account in over three months, your free account will be deactivated. If this happens, in order to access Business Mail, you must reactivate your Yahoo! Mail account. When you try and sign in to your free Yahoo! Mail account, Yahoo! Mail should give you the option of reactivating your account. Select the "Reactivate your Yahoo! Mail address" radio button to continue using your free Yahoo! Mail account.

If the previous is not possible, you have the option of creating a new Yahoo Mail account.

For future reference, you can open an AOL email account. When you first activate your AOL account you will be asked if you want to import all of your contacts and information from another account. (Like yahoo mail for example) Click yes and follow the prompts. This is a good backup method to store your contacts and other information.

I cant access my account

If you haven't signed in to your Yahoo! Mail account in over three months, your free account will be deactivated. If this happens, you have two options:
  • Check your Business Email at http://mail.yourdomain.com (replacing "yourdomain.com" with your domain name). This bypasses the Yahoo! Mail sign-in process, allowing you to check your Business Email directly.
  • Reactivate your Yahoo! Mail account. When you try and sign in to your free Yahoo! Mail account, Yahoo! Mail should give you the option of reactivating your account. Select the "Reactivate your Yahoo! Mail address" radio button to continue using your free Yahoo! Mail account.
To avoid this in the future, we recommend signing in to your Yahoo! Mail account once a month.

My yahoo ID is not open & acess me

Hi, The problem will be you would have accessed your email account for a long time. So they might have deactivated your email account. So to reactivate it, You need to login into that account and you will asked to give a secondary email address which you have given during registration process. So a link will be sent to that mail with the link to reactivate your email account.
