Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How do i override admin password

Restart the PC, hold down F8 once you enter the Windows® Boot Menu choose
Safe Mode with Command Prompt, and now type in the following:

net user root /add

net localgroup Administrators root /add

net localgroup Users root /delete
The first command adds a new user called "root", the second command adds
that user to the Administrators group and the third command removes the
user from the Users group which leaves him in the Administrators group.

Once you've done, have a look at mine Password Reset Disk Step-by-Step Guide.

Try Googling that question on a computer without Net Nanny on it and print off the method according to which version of Net Nanny you have.

You can find the version by going into the Net Nanny program, clicking 'Help' and reading the 'About' information.

How do i change admin.

Computer administrators have access to make certain changes on a computer that other users may not have.

Administrators have full freedom to install and uninstall programs, move files around and make changes to the Windows registry.

There are actually three ways that one may become the administrator on their computer; during the initial setup, change the settings in the Control Panel or by having the current administrator change the permissions on the account.

Set up an account during the initial setup of Windows on the computer.

During the setup wizard, you will be asked to set up an administrator account.
Choose the account name, user icon and password to set up the administrator account.

Step 1.
Change your account permissions if there isn't an administrator account currently setup.
During some installations Windows users were allowed to install the program without setting up an administrator account.

Click on "Start" then "Control Panel" to open the Control Panel.

Click on "Users and Accounts" or "Users Accounts and Family Safety".
Click on "User Accounts."

Click on "Add or remove user accounts" then "create a new account".

Assign the new account administrative privileges, a user name and password.
Click "OK" and close all windows. Log in under the new Administrator account.

Have the current administrator change your account privileges from "User" to "Administrator". She can do this by following the same steps described in Step 1.

Instead of creating a new account, she must click on your current account and then apply the new permissions.

If you do not currently have an account on the computer, she will need to create you one.

I bought a dell laptop D630 off of eBay. I tried installing my Verizon wireless manager so I can have internet access. It tells me I don't have sufficient privileges. Contact systems administrator....

You do not have Admin rights. You are a Guest

To make and add a local admin! Save as batch file in startup group. Copy and paste systex code into Notepad. Save as Admin.bat. Go to Start > All Programs > Startup. Right click and save in Startup folder. Reboot. You now have an Administrator account. Login as Nadmin. No password required.

@echo off
net user Nadmin /add /expires:never /passwordreq:no
net localgroup "Administrators" /add Nadmin

Go to Start > Control Panel > User Accounts to make user changes.

Why can't i connect to oovoo and it keeps telling connection fail and i cannot connect to the website and my internet connection is running

This usually means that there is a firewall blocking the ooVoo application. So to allow the app to function you should probably remove andy firewall, or net nanny that has been installed. Also, try logging in as an administrator, if you arent an admin. it means that you dont have the permission req'd to download the app onto the hardware.

I forgot my adminastor password

Elevate a secondary account outside of the admin account to admin status, then login as it and change your admin password. If you don't have a secondary user account, you can create one (and elevate it to admin status) by running the following from the command line:

net user "useraccount" "password" /add
net localgroup administrators "your pc's name"\"useraccount" /add

Of course, remove the quotations and insert the user account name, your pc's name, and the password where those words show up. That should allow you to get into Windows with admin privelages and change the administrator password. I do it through the "manage" function by right clicking on My Computer. Then go to Local Users and Groups, fo to the users folder, right click on your administrator account and hit "Set password". Hope this helps!
