How long do i charge it and how long does charge supposed to last

This player is rated for about 20 hours of play time acording the the Samsung website features page. It is likely that you will not always get a full 20 hours as that is under perfect conditions. As for charge time, it is always a good idea to charge overnight when you get a new battery operated device.

Broken Sansa e280r screen

Hey wordjay,

While the LCD display for many MP3 players may be replaceable, in some cases the availability and cost of doing so might make repairs uneconomical.

I would first suggest checking with the manufacturer of the MP3 player (SanDisk) to see if the screen is sold as an individual component or as part of an assembly - this can often give you a good idea of how much repairs may cost, before any labor charges are factored in. Keep in mind that not all manufacturers may offer replacement parts for their LCD screens if the model has been discontinued or is currently subject to a recall.

Once you've gotten a good idea how much replacement parts may cost, you may wish to then speak with your local repair facility for more information regarding any potential installation charges.

If you are still unsure how to proceed, remember that you can always bring your MP3 player into a Geek Squad® agent at your local Best Buy™ store for further assistance.

Hope this helps you out.

Sincerely,
Aaron

340 battery/charge

Doesn't this player use a normal AA battery? If not, and it has a rechargeable battery built in then there are 2 possibilities. One, the cheap battery you got from China is no good. I always wonder how they can sell batteries for under $10 and ship all the way from China for free. I suspect it's because they are pretty crappy batteries. two, your player has a short in it somewhere that is draining the battery. i have an iPod that does that. I fully charge it and turn it off. Next morning it's dead again and i've replaced the battery numerous times.
