I have seen a recent malware (short for malicious software) program that disables the cd-roms and prevents access to the c: drive by making registry changes. Go to download.com and download Malwarebytes and run it. It helped me get rid of this problem. This particular malware was pretty nasty as it prevented me from accessing the drives (no access through My Computer, Windows key + E (Windows Explorer) and access to it from the start menu was removed, and no USB drives either! I had admin rights and was still denied. The only way I could beat it was to boot into safemode with networking and download Malwarebytes. Try this first. Since you are using Peer to Peer software (Limewire) sharing you are a ripe target for viruses and malware.

I need to buy a internal hard drive for a Philips Freeline LS2200. Can you advise me if I need a 2.5 or 3.5 inches?

The Philips Freeline LS2200 uses a 320GB SATA Seagate, 3.5 inch width harddrive. (7200RPM)
The usual desktop sized harddrive.

Due to the low costs of SATA desktop harddrives, I would recommend at least a 500GB unit,

Red blinking light, tv wont turn on

Most likely it is a power supply problem. The flashing red light is a code for the service tech to look at a certain circuit pathway on the power supply board.
You can usually find a Service Manual on the internet for less than $20. It will have everything on the red light codes and other valuable information about repairing your TV.

Computer speakers are buzzing

Common humming sounds from computer sound systems stem from the follwing:

1) Interferance with other electrical componants / devices
Solution: EMF / Radiostatic shielding may provide the solution

2) Defective componants
solution: try the hardware in another PC, if it still hums, your board / plug-in compants may be defective.

3) Jack(s) - Headphones / speakers have loose connection
Make sure everything is plugged in securely, and your jacks have not been damaged, also make sure you are plugged into the correct ports.

4) Microphone boost / auxiliary settings
check your sound settings, disable any ports you aren't using. Line-in, Aux, CD-rom, Digital Input.. if they aren't being used, they may be creating "whte" static in the lines. Muting them, or disableing them in the sound settings for your device may provide the solution..

5) It has been known to happen that certain CPU / Case / Power supply fans emmit a sonic frequency through the speakers due to EMF expulsions from the electro-magnetic motor. This is rare, but is possible, Disable the case fan to determin if it's the culprit, swap power supply, or CPU fan to determin if they are the issue.

WARNING: Never run your PC without the CPU fan in full operation, Never run the PC without your Power Supplies fan in full operation: This can lead to DAMAGE to your PC.

On a personal note: My card has several different ports, make sure you are plugged into the correct port, and muting the Aux cleared the humming in my computer's sound system.

Philips freeline wireless keyboard and Mouse

Have you tried re-installing the software for the keyboard & mouse. It sounds like a driver is missing and the best way to solve it in most cases is to re-install the software from the disk that came with the Keyboard & Mouse. Hope that helps. Bud
