To my own understanding putting password on system is still good for Users signing in but for Bios setup it is some how dangerous but all the same thats why we are here for you as in experts.
Then try reformatting your system and install another Os and lets see if is going to work and if it doesnt then you repost it and we get your question right clear.
But then you we have a formatting disk and put it into the cd drive then it will boot from the cd and not from the hard disk .OK then follow the instruction that will be giving .
That solve your problem.

hi if you have a member of your family or if you know what you are doing then go for it. "* PLEASE TURN OFF AND UNPLUG ALL POWER SOURCES (Battery and Power outlet) *" remove the back cover of your laptop and remove every screw to get to the BIOS/ CMOS Battery. Simply remove BIOS/ CMOS battery on mother board. first on the bottom of the laptop there is a large cover plastic thing. unscrew that and a small circle battery will be there, take out battery. secondly: plug in battery or mains then, go on to the bios and add a password. last: once added, save exit then go back on bios page , insert the CPU battery and then save and exit turn off laptop wait 30 seconds switch back on go on bios and it should be done.u may need to insert date and timeXD ( PLEASE NOT THIS IN NOT 100% effective some laptops BIOS chip need to be replaced)

Hope this helped. Thanks

Hi i am an indian.sir my laptop toshiba model:satellite A130/A135 Series is asking for bios password.ples help me.

Hi.

If you dont remember the BIOS password, you may remove it by resetting the BIOS password.

Please follow the below steps to reset the BIOS password:

1) Please remove the bottom casing of the Notebook.
2) Once you have removed the below casing, you should be able to see a CMOS Battery.
3) The CMOS Battery will be of a size of a coin.
4) Once you have found the CMOS Battery, please remove and re-insert it again.
5) The CMOS Battery will have the information about the Computer Date, time, BIOS Password etc.,
6) Removing and re-inserting the CMOS Battery will reset these settings, which will also remove the BIOS password.

Please perform the above steps and let me know the results.

Hope this helps.

Please feel free to contact for further information and assistance.

Hi mayatimikata.

If you are referring to the BIOS password, then let me tell you the easiest trick to reset the BIOS password.

The BIOS password, Computer date and time and many more settings will always be saved in the CMOS Battery.

Hence, here is the trick.

You may just remove and re-insert the CMOS Battery.

This will reset all the information or settings in the CMOS Battery.

The BIOS password will also be erased by doing this.

You need not worry, this will not harm your Computer in any ways.

Please perform the steps which I have mentioned above.

This should reset the BIOS password.

Hope this helps.

Please feel free to ask further questions.
