Question about HP iPAQ hw6965 Smartphone

1 Answer

Charging indicator stays red

With low battery my ipaq 6965 mobile phone turned off.
When I tried to switch it on by recharging the charging indicator stays red and never turns to green which usually happens when it is fully charged.and while charging the red light even turns off by itself.I haven't seen my phone working for 4 months.

Any help appreciated.

Hmmm...is the USB cable plugged in to a powered PC? Could be cable or battery issue. Red light means that the battery is very low on juice. Return it to where you got it from if you can't solve it on your own.

Why won't my phone turn on?

Usually, the red light indicates that the battery is so low that there isn't enough of a charge to power the phone. Leave it charging for a while, then try again. Alternatively, if it is still a problem, take the battery out, which will reset the phone, then put it back in and recharge. Hopefully, one of those 2 options will help. If not, got to your wireless store for help!

N 95 After a full recharge says battery Full in the night ,Cell phone seems switch off in Morning but try to open no results only reboot after plugging in to charger

try to change battery first.

some tips :

* proper way of charging your mobile must be turn off

* using your mobile while charging is not recommendable because this is the reason why battery is easily drain and it suddenly turns into low battery level.making a call and player music as well as video is also a factor of making the battery weak while on charge.

* might your phone end to a shorted or shortage mobile because of overcharging the phone...and for sure some of the internal components of the mobile might get damage...

please rate me if this solution helps...you can ask testimonial too... thanks

Iam useing sony ericsson w850i for past 1 year.suddenly one day it was switched off if i seem to turn on it is flashing the red light.and now iam not useing that phone any ideas to turn on my phone back.

Hello,

from my own experience and idea, I think that flashing light indicates low battery.

This is usually common with Sony ericsson phone, it flashes a red light once battery is low and you want to power is on.

Maybe should test your phone with another battery.

All the best.

  2. When the power indicator on the top of the HP iPAQ Pocket PC turns solid amber, the unit is fully charged and can be disconnected from the AC adapter (approximate time to fully charge a unit is four hours).
NOTE: The amber charge light blinks while the battery is recharging and turns solid (nonblinking) when the battery is fully charged. In the event of a low backup battery warning, charge the unit immediately before removing the main battery to avoid data loss. To view the amount of charge left in the backup battery, tap Start, Settings, the System tab, and Power.

Your battery is very very low. The red light is indicating an almost dead battery. In fact, you may have a battery that is too low to charge. Or you may have dead cells in the battery that require you to purchase a replacement. Try my guide to manual battery charging. I have it listed in all of the HTC Wizard (which is actually what type of phone you own) sections. http://www.fixya.com/support/r211784-phone_charge_all_no_lights_fix_here
