The Quinny Buzz 2007-2010 model requires two seat fabrics. One is thicker, more padded, for a newborn/smaller child and the other is a more canvas type fabric which allows more space for an older child (up to 15kg). You should have received both fabrics when you purchased the Buzz. If you need to buy a 2nd stage (also known as the XL) seat fabric you can do so via your local Quinny retailer or direct with the customer service department on 01284 413 141 Mon-Fri 8.30-4.30. RRP is 40GBP for the seat fabric and if ordered direct there will also be 3.99GBP p&p charge. You slide out the thicker fabric from the sub seat (seat frame) and slide in the 2nd stage seat fabric.
If it's the new model then you need to follow this in reverse order for Cleaning the Quinny Buzz seats (comfort cushion and XL seat) 1. Open safety harness
2. Unfasten the shoulder belt snap and hook and remove the belt pad. 3. Loosen all snaps on the bottom of the seat
4. Loosen the Velcro straps on the bottom of the seat. Remove the belt buckle through the opening of the seat 5. Slide the cord of the seats out of the edges of the Quinny Buzz seat. Start with the foot section and work towards the head section
6. Pull the lap belt of the Quinny Buzz seat through the holes of the seats and remove the loops from the shoulder belts from the openings of the seat
Hi if you bought buggy in 2007 contact dorel with proof of purchase they will send you new extensions & an xl seat cover. They also can supply the harness pads but you can pick them up cheaper on ebay.
no im in the the same boat i actually need a cover i have a frame no cover and the seats dont fit the newer model ...if u find out where to find a nelw cover for the 2005 please PLEASE let myknow by email firstname.lastname@example.org or 647 997 6463 thanks
Hi if you have the older style seat unit then you wont find pink seat covers, you would have to buy a complete new seat unit you can buy the newer style seats in pink and they are always available on ebay new and secondhand, but be careful if you have the very older 2005 model then the new seats wont clip on securely but 2006 onwards should be fine (if you have the silvery wheels rather than the matt grey wheel hubs you should be ok) hope this helps
Check out the manual at http://www.quinny.com/ - click on the buzz link and download the manual at the bottom of the central screen. You can buy spares direct from Quinny via their parent company in the UK at www.dorel.co.uk/contact-us/
If not, try ebay! There are loads
hey it took me a while to figure it out, at the top of the padded shoulder straps at the back if you feel with your fingers you will find a popper fastening you have to pull it so that it comes away then you should be able to find that the harness is attatched by a loop, take that off and then with the harness unattatched you can thread the slits of the footmuff through and then reattatch it all including the padded shoulder straps, i took mine apart today because my daughter has outgrown the comfort cushion so i took it off after realising there was a bigger seat unit undernath it i bet not alot of people know you can do this, anyhow, by adding the footmuff it makes it alot more padded and cosyier hope that helps!
