If it's bright green with light lines from side to side the green gun is shorting out. You would need to take the front off and look at the neck of the tubes. See if all three filiments are working. It will be a dim glowing in the neck of each tube. If you have filiment voltage but no red gun you may have bad solder connections on the CRT modules but being it's a Sony it could be a bad green Tube. If the green gun is shorting out call around to TV shops in your area and ask them if they have a Beltron or BNK Picture Tube Rejuvenator. Sometimes the short can be cleared using the right test equipment. Ask them how much they would charge you to shoot the tube if that's your problem. If it's no Red it may be bad solder connections on the CRT modules. I hope this helps.

Sony tv kds-r60xbr1 has yellow tint

Sorry to hear this, but your optical block has failed. Sony replaced a ton of these under warranty and then extended the warranty on these SXRD sets so they could replace many more. They even replaced the sets with LCD sets after a class action law suite. This was a "black eye" for Sony TVs and they stopped making the SXRD sets. Your set is vintage 2006 and there is no longer a warranty. You could replace the optical block with a rebuilt one, but the cost would be about the same as getting a new 60" LCD. I would suggest you do the latter.

My sony sxrd 60 inch fell off tv stand and now does not turn on. The green lights goes on but the tv doesnt turn on and i get 3 blinks from the red light. what does the 3 blinks indicate?

"Will Not Work"
"Bad Move Buddy"
"I'm All Done"
"That's All Folks"

Any of these will do, in reality, the set isn't going to power on as you likely have done some serious damage to the main board or tuner, etc.

SONY SXRD Powers off and on

the tv will cycle the lamp over and over when it goes bad. for some reason, it doesn't spit out the lamp error. the steady green blinking led means the tvs coming on. replacing the lamp will solve your problem.
