You need a piece of software to create a Virtual com port, make sure you have the comms set correctly 9600, n, 8, 1 and print to that port, you will find it clearly marked in Device Manager. You can get a parallel to USB cable then you can use your driver set to LPT1
I HAVE DG31PR M/B AND ADD PIC CARD IN PRINTER PORT\r\nADD PRINTER AND PRINT IN ONLY WINDOWS BASED. ========= other M/b Onboard I HAVE DOS BASED PRINT Eg. c:\dir >prn to print to directories names.
but could not print out. because printer port is LPT3 is named. anyway i am try to lpt3 to lpt the following steps divice manager ports com & lpt lpt3- properties port setting port lpt3 to lpt1 apply then print is successfully
the above setup followed in DG31PR m/b. lpt3- properties port setting (tab) not viewed Why?
make sure you follow this step : 1. install driver USB to Paralel port (LPT1) before the cable connected to PC 2. After the driver installed, install the cable - and it supposed to be detected 3. the last think u have to do is install the scanner/printer driver
if it is not work, i guess the problem is on the USB to paralel adapter, or the driver not installed correctly
