Paper not feeding from the front

I took the printer apart, the plactic that pushes the paper up doesn't have a spring. I don't know when it came out but the printer won't feed the paper.
I can feed paper from the banner slot on the back.

I have the same problem

I know someone who can solve this problem

Suggest a new solution for this problem
