Question about Akai LCT2785TA 27 in. LCD Television

Will not power on after device is turned off.

When I turn lcd off a fant screeching sound begins and device will not come back on when I press the power button with the remote controller or on actual device. I have to unplug the lcd and then it will come back on, but if I turn it off again still have same problem. What can be done to fix this situation? My email address is roodilla2milflo@yahoo.com. You will need to replace the power supply or get it repair because the manufacturers are not longer producing these service parts.

My Samsung TV won't turn on


Please describe the problem more accurately. Flashing red usually means 'stand-by' state, flashing blue/green - starting up. When (during that) do you have a sound? Are there any 'high voltage' sounds like soft screeching from the screen? Is it LCD or LED?

Just try to reset so picture will back to normal again, some LCD TVs have a reset button. If available and accessible, try using the reset buttons before using the steps below. Using the reset buttons can save time.
1. Unplug the LCD TV power cord from the power outlet.
2. Unplug any connected devices (DVD, Set-top boxes, etc...)
3. Press and hold the LCD TV power button for five seconds.
4. Plug the LCD TV power cord back into the power outlet and turn on the TV.
5. Open the on-screen menu to confirm that the LCD TV is responding again.
6. Turn off the LCD TV and reconnect the devices.
7. Turn on the LCD TV.
