Replacement Kenwood KSC-WA82RC Car Subwoofer remote control wire

I just installed my tube woofer in my car. Unfortunately i got it 2nd hand and it did not come with the 6-pin extension wire for the remote control. Does anyone know where i can get one or is there other similar wires that would work. any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

It looks like the S-video you need one end to be male and the other is female end.The high quality the S-video wire the better the sound.Make sure you get a long enough cord. Take it with you to radio shack or and car audio or home audio find the female end of the S-Video and it should plug in perfect.Wire it up and enjoy some tunes

I just got a kenwood subwoofer KSC SW2000 with electric wires but has been cut. can you please provide me a picture or an installation manual if possible for proper connection. Thank you

Hello mikealtre,

Hopefully there's enough of the wires left to see their colors.

Here's a link to the manual. Other than the speaker level inputs, there's only 3 wires you need to be concerned with. Yellow is main power, black is ground, and blue is remote.

Hope this helps.

How do you wire sub speakers to change omes

if you have a 4ohm sub you can series it with another to make a 2ohm load. this is done by + from amp to + on one sub then take the - of that same sub and run it to the+ of the other sub then you only need to run a wire from - of that sub to the - on the amp. NOTE IF YOUR AMP IS BRIGED THIS IS A 1 OHM LOAD!! IF THE TOO SUBS ARE ON ONE CHANNEL THIS IS A Two OHM LOAD IF YOU ARE RUNNING 8 OHM SUBS THEN YOUR AT 4OHM PER CHANNEL AND 2 OHM BRIGED

Where do you buy the 10 pin connector

I used a computer power cable (the one that plugs into your IDE HDD) and soldered the male end onto the circuit board. Sorted :)
