Question about RIM BlackBerry 8800

JVM ERROR 513

IM IN THE ARMY AND IM DOING FEILD TRAINING FOR UPCOMING DEPLYMENT, I SAY THAT BECAUSE IM CAN ONLY USE THE GOVERNMENT COMPUTER WHILE HERE. MY QUESTION IS THERE AN ULTIMATE RESETING CODE I CAN USE TO RESTART MY BLACKBERRY PHONE. ITS NOT A PEARL IT THE LARGER VERSION OF THE PEARL. IF SOMEONE COULD HELP ASAP BECAUSE IM IN TRAINING FOR THE NEXT 4 WEEKS AND I WOULD LIKE TO COMMUNICATE WITH MY WIFE WHILE TRAINING. THANK YOU i get a jvm error 513 how do i fix it

    I had a password on it and a maximum amount of attempts to get the correct one..and my friend went over that limit and the JVM Error 513 shows up..

I have my Blackberry 100 and I have JVM Error 513 reset.
I have the desktop manager and when I plug in my phone to the pc and try to instal the softwere my pc can't find USB.
Does anybody know what to do in this situation??

The technically correct way to reset a BB is to remove the battery and reinsert after 5 minutes.
Unfortunately the only way to recover this error is to reinstall all of the software.
You absolutely need access to a computer with the BB desktop software installed on it.
Once you have that you can follow the steps listed here:

The best way to fix any JVM error is to reinstall the device software. This is the same process as if you had to reinstall your OS (windows) for example on your PC. You will lose all information but you device will be reset to the state of when you first removed it from the box when purchased.

You basically have to update the software using Blackberry Desktop Manager. If you didn't back up your settings and contacts, there's a risk you'll lose them.

When you use up all your tries it clears everything for security reasons. Do you have a sim card? If you take it out and type in the passwod for the last time, it wont do any damage. If you dont, Im afraid you are effed...
