Air compressor struggles to start but eventually starts

If the proplem only happens after the initial start-up with the tank empty, then your back flow valve is sticking and preventing the compressor from kicking over imediately. If it does it all the time, even when the tanik is empty, then your capacitor on the motor is not charging correctly.

My compressor will not operate, I have had it for about 8 months and it has worked fine until now. I have tried several outlets and nothing. I think it is a fuse, but not sure, where is the fuse located on...

Often there is a button on the motor, usually on the back that isa thermsl breaker reset. There usually is NOT a fuse.

Other failures are defective plugs/cord/connections. Failure of pressure switch.

My Campbell Hausfeld 13 gallon compressor was working fine then all of a sudden I was losing air in my drill gun and when I turned it off. I tried to turn it back on and it will not turn on?

check your circuit breaker or fuse, then check to see if the compressor itself has a circuit breaker, it may have tripped, if it is humming you may need a new start capacitor, also check your switch

Campbell Hausfeld Air Compressor won't start

The compressor starting problem is common to most of the small portable compressors. Poor design and undersized components are to blame. If you have one of these units i suggest looking into a product called the Smart Start by Conrader Valves. It is interchangeable with the standard air filters and allows the compressor to start without fail. check it out- www.conrader.com.

Could I have blown a fuse on my Campbell Hausfeld compressor

your compressor does not have a fuse, look on the side just under the plastic cover.there should be a small c/b switch, just push it in. should work.
